Tasting Notes

The wine, simply put,

On the Eye: Elegant purple colour

On the Nose: Fresh, blueberries, violets

On the Tongue: Refreshing, light, red & blue berries

Best Enjoyed: Grilled pork, squid and hearty sea food

And for a more robust read,

This organic Gamay wine is really funky with its complexity - it has sweetness, bitterness, spicy notes and that illusive 'je ne sais quoi'. Unusual wine to be enjoyed slightly chilled for extra freshness.

Food match: Pork Milanese or fresh squid.

Fresh with blue and red fruits, violets and earl grey tea. Has a little natural funk but still clean.

ABV: 11.5%

Location: Ambillou Chateau, Anjou, Loire

Grapes: 100% Gamay
